i went shopping

I went shopping yesterday. It was more to get out than to buy anything because I have not been out in a while, but I also kept an eye out for good deals for me and my family. I did not need to buy anything but I bought a nice satchel for everyday use. I could not help it, it was just so cute and it was on sale. I also bought the husband a belt which he had been wanting to get since he lost weight. And since I was already at the mall and I remembered my kids need cold weather clothes, I went straight to the kids' section to see if I can find the right sizes for them from all the kids outerwear that were on display. Luckily, I was able to grab a sweater for the little girl, hats for both of them, and a pair of boots for the little man. I would have bought a pair of boots for the little girl but I did not think it practical since she is still little and cannot walk yet. I opted instead for what I know she will need and be able to use.

I went home with a few shopping bags. I almost felt guilty but the husband said he knew I will end up buying something when I headed out the door and so he was not surprised. He said he was actually surprised I did not bring home more stuff. He knows me better than myself then, lol. I enjoyed the outing because there was no pressure. I am a mall rat, ever since I was young. I like the traffic and the smell and the displays at the mall. I don't think I will ever get tired going to the same stores even if I do it everyday. Like I always say here in my blog, I love shopping. A lot!
